When you have a condition like migraine headaches, you can’t just treat them like they are your everyday run of the mill headache. Treating migraine with Aspirin or Excedrin is like treating a bullet wound with a Bandaid. You have to use a proven method of treatment such as Massage Therapy or Prescription Medication. Though, I would be cautious as not every method of treatment is side effect free. There are some methods that do work like Prescription Drugs but bring with them some dangerous side effects. Below I will share with some of your migraine treatment choices; you will notice some differences between the two choices I give you.
Prescription Medication
When prescribing medications for migraine patients, most doctors recommend Triptans or Ergotamines to do the trick. Unfortunately, these drugs were not designed for migraine headaches but for high blood pressure patients; they do help with the migraine process though. They constrict the blood vessels from expanding and swelling; which if this happens to the ones in the brain, you will not have a migraine. Migraine headaches occur from swelling blood vessels in the brain which release a chemical that attacks the arteries in the brain. Ergots and Triptans can help, as you can easily see, but they pose some other problems as they don’t just constrict the few vessels in the brain responsible for migraine attacks. They constrict every blood vessel in the body in their attempt to lower blood pressure. Ergots are especially dangerous as they constrict vessels in and around vital organs like the liver or the heart. Though the case list is small, some people have even died from a heart attack due to taking Ergots as a treatment for migraines. SO instead of dealing with frequent pain, they will now have no more pain or brain function for that matter. So you have to do your research. You can’t make this decision lightly. I would recommend that you consult with you primary care physician to determine whether or not prescription medications are the best migraine treatment option for you. Convenience is nice but safety is key. Try the Migraine Support Formula as it is a convenient and safe way to treat migraine headaches.
