Growing up I was labeled somewhat of a drama queen. Theatre was in my blood and I loved being on stage and drawing an audience wherever I went. I always felt that I was made to be the center of attention, as a child this attitude was cute and somewhat approved of, but as a grown women – yeah not so much. I still seem to have the tendency to draw attention to myself whenever and wherever I go, I tend to do this in several different ways one being the clothes and hair pieces I wear and the second being the dramatic way I react when becoming injured or in pain.
Over the last year or so, I began developing chronic migraine headaches; migraines were a new thing to me so I had the opportunity to practice a dramatic tragedy scene and was quite pleased with the attention I gained from it. Though my performance was bit over the top, the pain I was feeling was very real. Migraine headaches are one of those chronic conditions that leave you debilitated and begging for some alone time no theatrics needed it comes naturally when enduring a migraine.
