The most effect migraine treatment to date in my personal opinion would be the Migraine Support Formula. This natural formula boasts powerful ingredients such as Ginger, Feverfew, Gingko Biloba and Magnesium Citrate all of which are uniquely formulated to not only provide migraine relief but to lessen migraine frequencies. The Migraine Support Formula has been clinically tested and proven to be an effective migraine treatment.
Information and technology is a modern day wonder. Though the prescriptions are still prescribed, medical professionals have new information regarding migraines and migraine treatment options. Migraine treatment options today can take on various forms from pharmaceutical to holistic. The challenge today is not finding a migraine treatment but finding the right migraine treatment.
Bad Migraine Treatment Options
Chronic migraines are a debilitating illness that leaves millions of men and women horizontal on their rears in a dark room far away from any light, anxiety or clamor. Those who are suffering with chronic migraines may find the answers they are looking for in regards to an effective migraine treatment that could open the door for a nearing future migraine cure.
Up until the last decade, medical professionals have very few options to give to their chronic migraine patients. Though no migraine cure has been discovered as of yet or is there? There is much being done in regards to migraine treatments. Treating migraine headaches has taken on a whole new look here in the last decade. Migraine treatment would consist of nothing more than the prescribing of medications such as Antidepressants, Anti-seizure medicine and Blood Pressure Pills. The prescribing of medications such as these did very little to affect the migraines. With little information surfaced regarding migraines, migraine attacks, migraine causes and or treatments medical professional were taking a shot in the dark hoping that relief would be had for their suffering clients.
Going Thru Each Phase
Now that you have a handle on the types of migraine treatments available to the end consumer i.e. you, we can now progress to describing each phase or stage as most of you will experience three of these and a few of you will go through all four with great agony. Here are the stages as they would come first.
1. Prodrome Stage – The first stage that migraine sufferers endure is referred to as prodrome or the preemptive/pre-headache stage. During the prodrome stage, soon to be migraine suffers will begin to experience symptoms that serve as warning signs such as:
o Fatigue
o Changes In Behavior
o Food Cravings
o Overly Sensitive To Light And Sound
o Constipation
2. Aura Stage – Migraine Aura begins to show up twenty to sixty minutes before the intense migraine headache symptoms begin. Symptoms that come with the migraine aura stage typically affect vision and produce the following symptoms:
o Flashing Lights
o Black spots in eyes
o Blank Spots
o Zigzag lines
o Vertigo
o Temporary Blindness
Finding a dark quiet place to rest is important during this stage so that the migraine attack does not intensify. CSD or Cortical Spreading Depression is also a key symptom and is even suspected to be a key contributor to the start of a migraine to begin with. It starts at the back of the head and travels slowly to the front causing the nerves to be depressed in their response to impulses. It is important that friends, family and employers are notified during this stage that over the next few days you may be somewhat out of sorts as you cope with your migraine headache.
3. Headache Stage – The Headache stage is where the migraine bares down to implement the worst of the headache symptoms on the migraine
victim. It is during the migraine headache stage that intense head pain is had as well as the following symptoms:
o Nausea
o Diarrhea
o Pounding In The Head
o Vomiting
o Unilateral pain felt above the eye or in the back of the head
4. Postdrome Stage – The Postdrome comes after the worse of the migraine has been lived through. It is during this stage that the body experiences tiredness, head pain, cognitive difficulties and possibly gastrointestinal issues. Chronic migraine headaches can be treated with several migraine treatment options such as prescription medication, physiotherapy or natural supplements.
