Wikipedia defines an explosion as a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner though this definition has nothing to do with migraine headaches specifically it does describe a migraine patient’s temperament when enduring a migraine. Wikipedia also says that an explosion causes a shock wave and there is no arguing that when a migraine attacks it causes a major shock wave. Migraine headaches cause such intense pain that an individual suffering from repeat migraines often find their attitude and disposition become explosive.
After enduring multiple migraines, a migraine patient can begin to lose his or her cool during a migraine attack. When a migraine is fully manifest, the pain can hinders the patient from being able to function as well as he or she could. Physiological and emotional upsets happen when a migraine patient is left to cope with the pain and sit through another attack. A migraine causes a chemical shifting in the brain due to the enlarging of the blood vessels in the brain.
When a migraine is in the developmental stage, the blood vessels in the brain begin to enlarge and expand causing severe throbbing and pounding sensations in the head. This pain can continue to explode inside the victims head for several days. During this miserable stage of a migraine, a harmful chemical is released and once it is released it begins to attack the brains arteries with a fierceness that leaves the victim motionless on the bed praying for an end to his or her migraine pain.
Treating The Pain
Migraine pain does not go away on its own so a little help is needed. Without a migraine treatment, the migraine frequencies will continue, however preventative migraine treatments are available and can help soothe a migraine victim.
