Back in my day the N’Sync boys were the “it” boy band. They had fun catchy tunes, awesome dance moves and good looking band members all of which just made for a wonderful combination. Near the end of their career they came out with a wonderfully fun song called Bye, Bye, Bye. In the song, the boys are basically telling this girl that it time she walks out the door, bye, bye, bye in life things are not always as simple as saying bye, bye and then shoving our problems and concerns out the door life just does not work that way.
When it comes to dealing with migraine headaches, chronic migraine sufferers can’t have the expectation that once a migraine treatment has been decided on and the implemented that all migraine pain and frequencies would just go out the door; it is not possible. Why? The main reason that a migraine headache sticks around so long has to do with the way they develop. Migraines are not really bad headaches they are in fact a neurological condition that develops in the brain and can cause extreme physiological changes in the body as well as creates a chemical change in the brain.
Treating Migraines
Blood vessels in the brain can expand and when they do they create a painful throbbing and pounding sensation in the victim’s head. Once the blood vessels begin to enlarge, they will then release a harmful chemical into the brain that will begin to attack the brains arteries and causing the onset of further and more painful migraine symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and blurred vision. There is no way to see a migraine out the door without first finding an effective migraine treatment. Settling for any old migraine treatment will not do the trick especially if no previous research had been done on the matter.
Migraine treatment will most likely need to be around for a while therefore it is important that the right migraine treatment be found before implementation. Prescription medications are an option but use cautiously they do have several side effects associated with them. Another options and one that more and more migraine victims are moving toward is holistic or natural approaches to treating their migraine headaches.
