Migraines can a real bother to endure all the time and I say “all the time” because they are a chronic neurological, vascular condition. They affect the vessels in the body and in turn, cause certain nerves to become inflamed. Millions of Americans each year suffer from migraines, making migraines the number one reason for people to miss work due to illness. Migraines are catalyzed by triggers and once a trigger has been encountered by the sufferer, blood vessels in the brain will begin to expand and enlarge. As they expand, they cause a chemical to be released into the brain. This chemical attacks the arteries in the brain causing the unbearable, unilateral pain associated with migraine headaches. This pain is only about half of what is experienced; the rest come from trigeminal nerve which becomes inflamed in the process. Pain and other symptoms won’t cease until the blood vessels that are enlarged return back to there original size. This process can take up to three days or longer depending on how regular and what type of treatment has been used.
Help Is On The Way
There is no cure for chronic migraine headaches, yet relief can be found through the use of migraine treatments such as acupuncture, massage therapy and even prescription medication. There are a number of treatments out on the market; so what you, the sufferer, should do is research each treatment option. Consult with your primary doctor in order to decide which migraine treatment is best for you. I personally would recommend the Migraine Support Formula as your first choice. For one, it is in pill form and it is side effect free. It has no nasty side effects because it is comprised of all-natural herbs, vitamins and minerals which will help minimize the frequency and intensity of the migraine attacks. Here is one of the ingredients:
- Riboflavin – This vitamin is a important component to building and maintaining energy throughout your body. Riboflavin or B2 is apart of the Vitamin B Complex Group and can be found in many common foods sources such as: milk, cheeses, almonds, leafy green vegetables, mushrooms, fish, chicken, beef and even soy. And since Riboflavin is normally excreted everyday through normal urination, it would be helpful to replenish this energy-making vitamin through your daily diet.
