Vengeance is somewhat of an ugly word, the word vengeance is often used in connection with an individual taking revenge on another person. When talking about health care the phrase vascular vengeance could mean several different things. Vascular headaches are one of life’s frustrations that can cause an individual to take several steps backwards on his or her road to wealth and success. Vascular headaches are more commonly called migraine headaches but those in the medical world might refer to them as vascular headaches due to the unique way a migraine develops.
A migraine or vascular headache develops in the brain and causes a neurological reaction. When a migraine is in the process of developing the chemicals in the brain begin to react and change making the body as a whole change. Vascular refers to the blood vessels in the brain and how they react or respond to what is taking place with and in the body. As a migraine develops the blood vessels in the brain begin to expand causing severe throbbing or pounding in the head. The expanding of the blood vessels can take up to three days releasing harmful chemicals in the process.
Chemical Reaction
The released chemicals create further complications in the brain by attacking the brains arteries. When the brains arteries are under attack the arteries fight back or take vengeance on the chemical’s attack by striking back with a whole slew of miserable migraine symptoms that can leave the migraine patient out of commission for several days. Up to this point the severity of the migraine pain has only been felt in the head, but now a chemical reaction has caused the whole body to react or respond to the threat.
Migraine symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, muscle weakness, fatigue, sore muscles and joints, loos of color and even bouts of mental confusion begin to take control of the patient. Without a migraine treatment to help lessen migraine frequency, duration and intensity this pattern of vascular vengeance will continue month in and month out. Migraine treatment is available to help migraine patient everywhere fight back on their terms.
