A headache has no other symptoms other than the head pain which resembles a pulsating sensation but the migraine pains; well let’s just say they are much more intense.
Migraine Development
A migraine develops in the brain this is why the pain is so intense thus creating a series of side effects such as the throbbing and pounding sensations. As the migraine develops, it causes the blood vessels in the brain to expand; the expanding of the blood vessels creates a physiological and chemical change in the body as well as the brain. The chemical change is why a migraine unlike a headache is known as a vascular or neurological concern. The chemical imbalance has to do with the release of a more chemicals into the brain at the expansion of the blood vessels.
Overtime, the released chemicals begins to attack the brains arteries and setting off a series of even more miserable symptoms that can leave a migraine sufferer debilitated for several days. The constant pain is the reason that a migraine quickly becomes a nightmare.
