When a migraine begins, an individual experiences a trigger for the migraine headache attack. Once a trigger is encountered, the migraine chain reaction will begin with the blood vessels in the brain expanding and enlarging. This trigger is mostly environmental in origin and specific for each migraine sufferer but is also can be physiological as well.
