Many things in life that happen or occur often come backed or ready to go with an excuse or a thought out reason as to why the situation or circumstance occurred. Everybody makes excuses for something it is just the way of life; however there comes a point in time when the excuses can cause serious health concerns and it is time to own up and face it. Migraine headaches are one of those conditions where it is easy to excuse away the head pain and the symptoms of the migraine.
Most migraine patients do not feel that a migraine headache is anything to be concerned over or to think anything of; well this is not the truth. Migraine headaches are a neurological condition that has the ability to affect the cognitive abilities of those who are forced to endure them. The blood vessels in the brain enlarge and causes extreme head pain such as throbbing or pounding sensation that literally clouds the brains ability to think clearly. Another little known fact about migraines is that as the blood vessels expand, a harmful chemical is released into the brain to attack the brain arteries and all sorts of painful and miserable side effects release.
Start Acting
The intense migraine pain and symptoms can force a migraine patient into seclusion for several days; therefore, the need to put a stop to migraine excuses is now so that migraine relief can be found. Excuses that are common with why migraine treatment is not sought would include:
- I do not have time
- Not sure what to do
- Who do I speak to
- Where do I find treatment
- Nothing works
- I don’t like how that treatment makes me feel
Regardless of what the excuse may be the bottom line is that it is an excuse. Stop making them and start living better. Migraine treatment is an efficient way to feel better and live a more quality driven life. Migraine treatments do not have to be overly complicated and time consuming. You can speak with your primary physician and ask for migraine treatment options and if you do not like the idea of using prescription medications then don’t. Stop complicating things and start living again!
