Migraine headaches linger and create multiple days of intense misery where the migraine patient wants nothing more than just to hide away until the pain evaporates. A migraine develops in the brain as a result of the blood vessels in the brain enlarging and causing a throbbing pounding sensation in the head. As the blood vessels expand the body of the migraine sufferer begins to go through a series of changes creating physical, emotional and chemical upsets. The pain becomes so intense and lasts for so long that ones emotion becomes very difficult to reign in with such extreme pain. The chemical aspect comes into play as the blood vessels in the brain continue to enlarge, as they do so the blood vessels begin to release a chemical into the brain. As a chemical is released into the brain it begins to attack the brains arteries inflicting a whole slew of miserable upsets that can hinder normal activity.
