When an individual comes down with a cold or the flu, their body begins to undergo several changes. For example, eyes begin to water, nose gets red, the eyes look tired and their body feels very week. The body is designed to react to what is going on internally it is the body’s way of alerting its owner that something is not right. When a migraine patient begins to develop a migraine, the same rule applies; the body will begin to undergo a series of changes that are evidence that something is not right.
The body of a migraine victim endures chemical changes, physiological changes and puts the victim through a series of emotional breakdowns. Reason being that as a migraine develops the body reacts due to the blood vessels in the brain enlarging and causing a spiral effect. The physiological upsets that come with a migraine are often neurological in nature. The brain is where the migraine develops therefore the brain is wear the changes begin. As a migraine develops, the blood vessels in the brain will enlarge and release a harmful chemical into the brain. The released chemical begins to attack the brains arteries and when this occurs a series of misfortunate events takes place.
Misery Continued
The misery that comes on a person once the brains arteries have been toyed with is pretty large and debilitating. Symptoms of a migraine are often thought if as nothing more than just head pains when in fact there are so many more symptoms and issues that come from a migraine attack. One of the symptoms of a migraine that is not discussed but often had would be constipation. Nobody wants to sit and discuss their bowl movements yet it is part of the problem and those who deal with chronic migraines need to be made aware of the issue and how it could affect them. Other physiological upsets could include vertigo, vision difficulties and not to mention cognitive confusion.
Migraine headaches and the debilitating symptoms that they bring are unable to be cured; however migraine treatment options exist and have been known to provide amazing relief to those who seek treatment out.
