Four migraine stages, four unique stages all of which have their own unique symptoms and side effects that can hinder a migraine patient from being productive and or successful at home and at life. Migraine stages move from one stage to the next worsening as they go. With each migraine stage the migraine victim becomes increasingly agitated and the pain worsens to the point by which he or she can be debilitated up to three days.
- Prodrome. The first migraine stage is known as the Prodrome stage. The Prodrome stage is said to be the easiest to deal with due to the lack of head pain or discomfort that comes with it. During the first migraine stage symptoms such as extreme fatigue, obsessive yawning, food cravings and bouts of depression are had but no head pain. Symptoms of this first stage are often missed but if they are caught in time and a treatment such as migraine medication or migraine supplements put into place then the migraine patient can reduce the chances of a migraine being long and severe.
- Aura. The second migraine stage is known as the aura stage. The aura stage effects one vision but not every migraine patient will experience the aura stage. Symptoms of this second migraine stage would include blurred vision, dizziness and black spots behind the eyes.
- Headache. The headache stage is by far the most severe stage of them all. It is during the headache stage that a migraine climaxes and the migraine victim is often found flat on his or her back as a result of the miserable symptoms connected with them such as: nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea and cognitive confusion. The headache stage can last for several days making the migraine victim feel trapped in his or her own home / body.
- Postdrome. The Postdrome migraine stage is the fourth and final stage of a migraine It is during the Postdrome stage is the time when the body works hard to recoup after the migraine attack. The body is weak and the muscle are sore but within a few days the migraine patient will be over the four migraine stages an life will return to normal.
