I sit a lot in what I do as a primary job; I am a sales person and drive from school to school with fundraising options. With my car as my office many days of the week, my neck and especially my back are kept in the same position for long periods of time; sometimes, I drive for five hours or more. This consistent sitting is not good for your back but also if not treated, it can be the precursor or trigger of a migraine headache. A migraine occurs when blood vessels in the brain begin to enlarge and become inflamed. This enlargement of the vessels cause a chemical to be released which in turn attacks the arteries in the brain. These attacks cause the sufferer immense pain and trauma to daily life. It is because of this throbbing conundrum that migraine are the number one reason for skipping out and calling in sick to your employer. The pain will climax causing the individual to recluse themselves and find a quiet place to ride out the storm.
News For You
Now, you want good news, right? Well, unfortunately, there is no cure, I repeat, no cure for migraines as this point in history. Sorry. All you can do to find relief is avoid possible triggers of the onset of a migraine and to follow a migraine treatment plan to remediate all up and coming migraine occurrences, both in frequency and intensity. A migraine trigger could be any number of things and is different for each person. So, discovering your migraine trigger is vitally important. Trigger could be:
- Humidity / Dry Air
- Weather Changes
- Foods
- Drinks
- Caffeine
- Neck and Back Tensions
- Sleep Depravation
- Smells
Also you must formulate a migraine treatment plan in order combat the migraine epidemic. Research the options available and consult with your primary care physician to determine the right migraine treatment for you. The following are a couple of the plausible migraine treatment options:
- Acupuncture – ancient Chinese needle healing techniques along certain meridian pressure points
- Chiropractic Adjustment – Discs and vertebrae can get out of wack and an adjustment can alleviate most migraine pain
Other options can include prescription medication and even the Migraine Support Formula.
