Driving to a new location can be rather nerve wracking. When traveling to a new destination, it is important that the driver pay close attention to all the helpful signs along the ways such as the road signs, speed limits and signs that point in the direction of the nearest rest stop. Without helpful signs along the side of the road, how is a person supposed to get to his or her intended destination? Without large billboards along the interstate, advertising all the upcoming attractions and food stops driving would not only be difficult but boring as well.
Helpful signs do not always have to be found on the road, there are those signs that are physically helpful as well. Our bodies if we learn to listen to them can act as a helpful sign in alerting us that sickness or some other health condition is pending and threatening to ruin a perfectly good week. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is easy to look over the signs that our body is trying to tell us. There are some signs that are hard to miss such as watery eyes, runny nose and sore throat, symptoms such as these are communicating that a cold is quickly approaching.
Discreet Signs
When a cold is looming in the background, it is hard to miss, but there are those signs that are more discreet such as the warning signs that a migraine headache is on its way and severe pain is about to be had. Migraine warning signs are easily missed due to their simplicity and commonality. Preemptive warning signs for a migraine resemble that of a poor night’s sleep. For a full and complete list of warning signs speak with your medical professional the following is the most complained about.
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Food Cravings
- Obsessive Yawning
- Insomnia
- Fatigue
- Irritability
Preemptive warning signs often show up several days before any head pain and if the signs are read carefully then preventative treatments can be implemented and the duration, intensity and frequency of the migraine attack decreases. It is important that medical care is sought from your primary physician before implementing any migraine treatment.
