It is difficult if not impossible to be happy while suffering with a migraine headache. A migraine headache is a miserable thing to have to endure once but to constantly endure migraine attacks life can take on a very frustrating and limiting role. Whenever a person is sick or not feeling well simple tasks become much more difficult and less simple to accomplish, the same can be said about a migraine headache. Whenever a migraine attacks it is difficult if not impossible to function at a normal level.
Migraine headaches develop in the brain causing a shift in chemical balances thus setting off a series of miserable and often debilitating symptoms. The chain of events that occur with a migraine can be somewhat confusing, when a migraine begins to develop the blood vessels in the brain begin to expand or enlarge. As the blood vessels enlarge they create painful sensations to develop in the head such as a throbbing / pounding. Overtime the blood vessels begin to release a harmful chemical into the brain. The released chemical begins to attack the brains arteries setting the following symptoms into motion.
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Blurred Vision
- Sensitivity To Light And Sound
- Cognitive Confusion
- Loss Of Facial Color
Finding A Way To Be Happy
The symptoms of a migraine can limit a person’s ability to think clearly and respond correctly. Symptoms of a migraine hinder functionality and the ability to manage household responsibilities. Trying to be happy with chronic migraine can be the biggest challenge of all because when the body is not feeling well all the body wants to do is respond negatively and pout. If a chronic migraine sufferer can wrap his or her head around the concept that life goes on and life can be full of happiness then he or she places his or herself in a position to allow a migraine treatment plan to be effective.
The different migraine treatments that are available would include the use of prescription medications as well as a natural side effect free treatment like herbal supplements, acupuncture and chiropractic care.
